My stay was a mixed bag at this hotel. The location was super convenient for getting around and exploring the area, but the room was quite warm for a good night's sleep and a bit cramped. On the bright side, the hotel offers easy access to various attractions and transportation options.

The room was too warm for sleeping and felt a little smoky from others smoking on the stoop. It was also incredibly small. However, it would be great if they had extra outlets for chargers, CPAPs, laptops, and other devices.

The location was fantastic for driving and accessing the Durango Trolley to Downtown. It was easy to reach the train station for a trip and other shopping areas. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to downtown, restaurants, and the river walk was a real plus.

Dining options were quite limited with only packaged pastries, bread, hot water, and coffee available. It would have been much better if they offered a more extensive selection, especially for those looking for a hearty breakfast.

The hotel is conveniently located between Scottsdale and Carbondale, making it a good resting spot for access to the Durango & Silverton Railroad or to the road to Silverton. The rooms, while comfortable, could have used a bit more cleaning. The breakfast offerings were somewhat limited to just coffee and sweets, but the walk on the riverwalk trail behind the hotel to downtown adds a nice touch to the location.

The hotel room was barely big enough for a queen bed but clean and just as the pictures showed. It was perfect for a short stay, although it smelled of cigarette smoke when the air deodorizer wore off. The location was great, close to the historic downtown area making it a quick drive. However, the dining experience was really in need of improvement, with weak coffee and pastries. Overall, it was a good experience with a few drawbacks.
